POI is a mesmerizing exploration of childhood and tradition. At the heart of the show lies the humble spinning top, transformed by skilled hands into a tool for evoking emotions and thoughts. World champion Guillem Vizcaíno, demonstrates in his one man show that even the simple act of spinning a top can reach incredible artistic heights.
Join us on a journey filled with surprising twists and unexpected connections as a man from the countryside, enchanted by the hypnotic dance of the spinning top since childhood, shares his passion. Through a blend of traditional craftsmanship, contemporary circus, and a deep understanding of both material and theme, he creates a unique experience for audiences of all ages.
This visually stunning performance is also a meditation on the passage of time. The spinning top, as a symbol of life’s cycles, invites us to slow down and appreciate the details. Each movement is filled with poetry and tells a story about the power of human creativity. Experience a celebration of simplicity and beauty hidden in the most ordinary objects.
