After its world premiere, a series of sold-out performances in Prague, and a year-long tour across France and Belgium, the adventure of the Forman Brothers Theatre RETURNS TO THE CZECH REPUBLIC!!!
Allegorical story about the birds who strive to find a real sense of everything and to return serenity and peace to the world. The actors and dancers from many parts of the world are starting their long journey to visit a new king. On the journey full of adventure, they also look deep inside themselves. Conceived as a journey to oneself, the performance creates its own world, based on the power of the image, suggestive movement rendering and impressive atmosphere.
In addition to traditional theatrical means, such as costumes, puppets, masks and expressive scenography, the creators use a system of powerful projectors to play out animations on large-format projection screens. The image thus achieves an extraordinary intensity and allows the audience to fly with the bird heroes through the enormous space of the tent and thus become part of their story.
Original mobile tent, especially designed for The Conference of the Birds, with dimensions of 32.5 x 20 meters, is carried by the reinforced floor with the weight of 52 tons. The interior with a grandstand for 334 spectators is uniform and without support columns. This creates a perfect blend of stage and audience, as well as space for richly staged scenes and large-scale decorations.
Don ́t forget that to enter the world of the Forman Brothers Theatre is to travel the thrilling roads where the wind of poetry blows.
The Conference of The Birds is also ready to welcome school classes and other groups of children. Reservations must be made in advance. For a list of dates and more information, click here:
