14 – 24 June 2018

The second year of the Open-air festival ARENA successfully followed the previous year. Among the Czech performances such as Aladin by the Forman Brothers‘ Theatre were a unique show L’Absolu by French artist Boris Gibé that took place in an original space called silo or L’Homme Cirque by a well-known performer David Dimitri. Completely sold out shows showed that the ARENA festival has found its place among lovers of the new circus genre. The festival also for the first time cooperated with art students. This year it was a group of twenty students from the renowned FLIC circus school in Turin (Italy) led by the famous lecturer of the new circus Roberto Magro.

The festival again offered spectators and passers-by a culturally packed program on the Vltava riverbank with the possibility of free entertainment. Even without a ticket to a show, visitors could attend open-air concerts, exhibitions, dance evenings, a varied program for children and much more.

The festival area was accessible for free and it was visited by more than 7 000 visitors.
