The charismatic singer, accordionist, circus performer and author combines her unmistakable raw expression of unrestrained chanson with cynical romance. With her mesmerizing charm and persuasiveness, she tells her life stories in purely original songs. During her concerts, she illustrates these with authentic stories and ironic commentary, bringing the audience closer to the story behind the songs.
Now, together with the “Malá velká kapela”, she comes up with a new programme based on the newly released album Láska, hlína, rýč.

In 2022 she was shortlisted for the Anděl awards in the Discovery of the Year category with her album Korzetiér and in 2023 she was nominated for the “Český slavík” award in the same category. Her second album Láska, hlína, rýč (2024), which she recorded and released herself, became one of the most talked about records in the annual Best of Headliner. And Josef Vlček called it “a rebellious generational gesture” in his review.

The sassy girl with the harmonica has drawn attention to herself in two years. She provokes with dirty love songs and stories, or by putting a bag on herself. But even the big labels couldn’t handle her toughness.

There hasn’t been an album like this in a long time! A Czech chansonnier for the 21st century? Something like Hegerova, but with the difference that Rozálie writes her own songs. And even though she likes to sing about how she suffers with guys, she is no martyr, but a peculiar girl who can be like a razor on herself even in pain.
