Don’t miss the epochal work of the King of Illusions: a great theatre right in front of the audience!
Family show: suitable for adults and children 12+ years
Duration: 50 minutes without intermission
Place: Loď Tajemství, embankment of Hořejší nábřeží
A hopeless theatre lover and a notorious amateur performs for one evening everything that every performing arts professional would like to see: opera, western, ballet and horror. Genres, roles and costumes are changing with the speed of an assembly line and our hero doesn’t notice that he (above all) is the only prisoner caught in the world of illusions.
The ensemble Wariot Ideal returns to its origins with Vojta Švejda performing in one-man cabaret called The Illusionist building on the former successful solo clown shows Bliss or Albert is scared. However, this performance is not just a return to modern pantomime or clownery. It creates an eclectic mix of all available stage trends. Vojta Švejda presents a classical anti-hero trying to put on a big theatre show with rather limited resources at any cost.
