Open Air Festival ARENA founded by the Forman Brothers’ Theatre is a showcase of theatre, new circus, music and contemporary performing art. It includes performances produced by the Forman Brothers as well as performances by artists that Petr and Matěj Forman met during their travels around the world.
The festival program is based mainly on the art of new circus, but includes also other forms of performing art. It also reflects the needs of a contemporary art generation and introduces cooperation with emerging artists and students of art schools.
The festival is based in the centre of Prague right by the river Vltava. Besides varied cultural program it offers a unique chill out area to the visitors. Festival ARENA also offers accompanying shows, concerts and workshops and other events for families or for groups of friends. The entry to the festival grounds is free.
